# Music player (full screen)

> Synced lyrics, auto-scroll, reading mode, transport controls, shuffle, repeat, playlists, and how listens are counted.

## Lyrics

* Words **follow the music** when timing is available.
* **Auto** — Keeps the right line on screen while the song plays. Turn it **off** if you want to scroll yourself.
* **Reading** — Tries to **stop the screen from going dark** while you read (works best on **phones**; on some computers the button may stay greyed out — that is normal).

If lines jump in big chunks, that song may have **simple timing**; you can still learn by ear and eye.

## Closing the big player

The **down chevron** closes the full screen. Music **keeps playing** in the **mini bar** until you stop it.

## Controls

* **Play / Pause**
* **Previous / Next** — Moves inside the **current list** of songs (or shuffled order if shuffle is on).
* **Bar along the bottom** — Drag to move to another moment in the song.

## Shuffle

**Shuffle** mixes the order of the songs you are playing from. **Next** and **Previous** follow that mixed order until you turn shuffle off or change album.

## Repeat (loop)

Each tap changes the mode:

1. **Off** — Stops after the last song.
2. **One** — Repeats the **same song** when it ends.
3. **All** — After the last song, **starts again** from the top of the list.

When you first open the app, repeat often starts as **play the whole list again** so albums flow continuously.

## Add to playlist

Adds the **song that is playing now** to a playlist you pick.

## When a “listen” is counted

Usually when the song **ends naturally**. **Repeat one song** plays it again without adding a new “finished play” each time in the same way as moving to the next song. Pausing or skipping does **not** cheat the app — they are normal listening tools.
