# Words we use in this guide

> Glossary of Melophrase terms: albums, levels, queue, listens, daily goal, Favourites, and full access.

| Word                | Simple meaning                                                                                                                                                                                            |
| ------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Album / pack**    | A set of songs put together for learning (one tile in the Library).                                                                                                                                       |
| **Level (A1–C2)**   | How difficult the language is in that pack — **A** is easier, **C** is harder. (Official framework: [CEFR](https://www.coe.int/en/web/common-european-framework-reference-languages) — optional reading.) |
| **Queue**           | The list of songs the player plays through when you tap **next** or **previous**. Usually the whole album, or your playlist, in order — unless you turn on **shuffle**.                                   |
| **Listen**          | When a song **plays all the way to the end**, the app counts that as one more listen for your stats.                                                                                                      |
| **Daily goal**      | How many **minutes** you want to listen per **day**. Shown on Home; used for streaks and the week circles.                                                                                                |
| **Completed song**  | A song you have fully “finished” in the app’s sense; you may see a **green tick** on the row.                                                                                                             |
| **System playlist** | **Favourites** — a list the app creates for **favorite catalog** songs. It works a little differently from playlists you create yourself.                                                                 |
| **Full access**     | Listening **without trial limits** — comes with a **paid** plan (monthly or yearly) or **lifetime** membership when offered.                                                                              |
